At Cove Film we make creative documentaries that tell powerful stories, provide production and post services, and host edit/post/finishing retreats with a view of the sea.
Cove builds on Producer and Director of Photography Joe Bender’s decades of experience making featured documentaries for the highest level of exhibition and distribution. As Co-founder and producer at Third Party Films in Brooklyn, NY he shot, produced, and delivered seven feature docs that premiered at Sundance and TIFF, among others. He now brings that wealth of experience to Nova Scotia as a freelance DP and in new collaborations as producer and cinematographer. New films are in the works and will be posted here in the coming months. Oh, and we also have the only full service editing and color suite on the South Shore ✂✂✂.
